I know you are used to me posting more often than I have this month, and for that I apologize. This December was the first time since my mother passed away on New Year's Day 2009 that I was actually excited about Christmas. I was even ready to decorate, minus the tree (Can you see why?)
Sadly on December 6th, my Granma - Laurietta Iannarone- passed away. She was an amazing woman that taught me so much about the true meaning of love. While not my grandmother by blood, she never treated me any different. She loved me like her own when she didn't have to. I will forever be grateful for all she showed me and taught me just by being her.
Needless to say, designing took a back seat for a couple of weeks while we traveled North for the funeral services. When I got back home I had a kit that I had started waiting for me. I knew I didn't have time to make a full kit the way I wanted to. But I just LOVE the color palette. So I packaged it up and Silent Night was created.
When thinking what to scrap with the kit, only one person came to mind......Granma

I haven't had the creative flare or time to create any freebies. But be sure to check back soon, I'll try to have something for. Until then, may you all be blessed during this Christmas season. May the most precious gift, our Lord Jesus Christ, find his way into your hearts and lives.
