Silent Night Wordart Freebie
A little bit late, but I just didn't feel right releasing a new kit without giving you a freebie to go along with it. Enjoy.

Silent Night
I know you are used to me posting more often than I have this month, and for that I apologize. This December was the first time since my mother passed away on New Year's Day 2009 that I was actually excited about Christmas. I was even ready to decorate, minus the tree (Can you see why?)
Sadly on December 6th, my Granma - Laurietta Iannarone- passed away. She was an amazing woman that taught me so much about the true meaning of love. While not my grandmother by blood, she never treated me any different. She loved me like her own when she didn't have to. I will forever be grateful for all she showed me and taught me just by being her.
Needless to say, designing took a back seat for a couple of weeks while we traveled North for the funeral services. When I got back home I had a kit that I had started waiting for me. I knew I didn't have time to make a full kit the way I wanted to. But I just LOVE the color palette. So I packaged it up and Silent Night was created.
When thinking what to scrap with the kit, only one person came to mind......Granma
I haven't had the creative flare or time to create any freebies. But be sure to check back soon, I'll try to have something for. Until then, may you all be blessed during this Christmas season. May the most precious gift, our Lord Jesus Christ, find his way into your hearts and lives.

Wow and thanks.......
This past week I had the pleasure of hosting the Weekly Challenge at Mousescrappers.com. It was so much fun to go and check the forum to see if someone else decided to play along.
I was pleasantly surprise when I saw this Layout created by cassidyk a.k.a Kathryn
Template: Cindy Schneider Half Pack 60 Alpha: Lacubrious alpha by Libby Weifenbach Designs Scatter: Mickey Scatters Silver by A Grieving Mommy Designs Mickey Heads: Glitter Mickeys by Kat Designs Everything else: Worth a Thousand Words by Arts and Ains Designs |
She had used my newest release, Worth a Thousand Words, to create her layout. I think most designers are like me, and just love to see what people do with our designs. It was a double pleasure to have someone not only take part in the challange, but to use my designs as well. Thanks Kathryn
If you have some time, head over to the Weekly Challenge Gallery or forum thread and check out all the great layouts everyone made. It never ceases to amaze me, the wonderful talent that you can find there.
Both my blog and Arts & Ains Designs on Facebook have coordinating freebies for you to grab. Be sure you do before they're gone.
